If your operating requirements don't need the full range of options provided by the new Shelter Evolution, the original version of the Shelter line can still be a valid and reliable alternative to the most recent model.
Shelter Legacy is a backshell + M40 cable gland combination designed to fit panel-mount PowerSyntax Basic connectors with threaded bodies and set-screw contacts, for high currents up to 480amp. The system gives total IP67 insulation and watertight protection on the cable-to-connector joints on the back of your panels.

Set-screw contact, up to 480amp. Cable retained through reduction sleeve (25-150 mm˛) and set screws suitable reduction sleeve is included. Used as a standard on SPX/SPZ 480amp line source/drain connectors, the set screw contact is also available for panel-mount connectors on request.
